Thanks to all who have bought and used >^..^< Black Kat Tack to help bring home the blues!!!!

Below are past examples of western saddles and tack I have made. All my saddles are cut from 2-3 oz. Hermann Oak premium tooling leather. All edges are burnished and dyed. I use Fiebings professional oil dye and finish or seal all leather in Fiebings Tan-Kote. Prior to Rio Rondo coming out with their new hardware, all silver was hand cut sterling silver plates. Today, all orders will be made with the new Rio Rondo hardware.  Each saddle set can take 35-45 hours each to complete. I generally make saddles with buckle billets for quick tack changes.

I do not take custom orders.

All finished saddles will be offered for sale on my site, ebay, MH$P & MXC.

The Black Kat Saddle Co. Story

I re-entered western tackmaking in 2003. My first year back I produced over 20 saddles. Orders and numbers continued to grow in 2004 and 2005, but due to my return to school in 2004 I was unable to keep up the pace. Books closed in 2006, and somehow I still have a growing backlog!

I feel I have become more critical of my work, and demand better with each saddle. I have just begun to toy with free hang carving, (and I'm groovin on it)!!!

To my VERY PATIENT friends on the backlog....Thanks all...you are the best!
